5.4 Design and construction of plant components
Biogas plants of simple design consist of the following main components:
- mixing pit
- inlet/outlet(feed/dischargepipes)
- digester
- gasholder
- slurry store.
Depending on the available building material and type of plant under construction, different variants
of the individual components are possible.
