Leave a gift to charity in your will
SOS Children is a natural choice for anyone wishing to remember a charity in their will.
The value of a loving home is something that many of us take for granted. By remembering SOS Children in your will, you could give vulnerable children the gift of a lifetime.
Gifts left in wills, no matter how small, are absolutely vital to our work and make a difference to the children in our care. Sometimes leaving a legacy is the one opportunity we have to make a significant donation.
With your help we can continue to care for children who have no-one else. Please find a place in your will to help them.
What better way to be remembered than to have given a child a future?
A gift in your will can contribute to providing a loving family home and a community for children. Your legacy could also make a significant change by strengthening communities who need our help.
It could mean the life-changing opportunity of education for children like Omar. Your gift can help to ensure that our work continues into the future and gives hope for a lifetime.
Every gift makes a difference.
To make a will
Including SOS Children in your will is an easy and very cost-effective way to support our work. It simply involves adding a short paragraph (clause) to your will. We recommend that you use a qualified solicitor to assist you with this. We have written some suggested wordings for making a bequest to SOS Children.
To change a will you have already made
If you already have a will and would like to change it to leave a gift to SOS Children, you can use this codicil form. A codicil need not change the terms of your current will, but simply add a new instruction. Please consult your solicitor or advisor before completing the form.
To help us plan ahead and thank you properly we would be really grateful if you could let us know if you decide to leave a gift to SOS Children in your will.
