Summary

Description	Deutsch: Der Merkurtransit am 8. November 2006. Der Merkur ist als kleiner schwarzer Punkt unterhalb der Mitte der Sonnenscheibe zu erkennen. Auf der linken Seite erkennt man den Sonnenfleck Nr. 923. Dieser ist deutlich größer als der Merkur. Am rechten Rand sieht man zwei weitere Sonnenflecke am Äquator. Deutlich ist auch die Randverdunkelung und die Granulation auf der Sonne zu erkennen. English: The Historical Transit of Mercury on November 8, 2006. Please note that sunspot #923, which is just below the equator at the left-hand side, is much bigger than Mercury is. You could also see two more sunspots at the right-hand side at the equator. You could see Mercury as a small black dot in the lower middle of the solar disk. Limb darkening is clearly seen at the image. The picture was taken with a white filter and prime focus. The grainyness in the Sun is called granulation. Français : Le transit de Mercure du 8 novembre 2006. On peut voir sur le disque solaire la tache solaire N°923, juste sous l'équateur sur la gauche, deux autres taches sur la droite. Mercure est le petit disque noir au centre de la moitié inférieure du disque solaire. Il est bien plus petit que la tache N°923. Sur le soleil, on voit aussi l' assombrissement centre-bord ainsi que les Granulations.
