Die Darstellung entstand um 1604 und wurde im Speculum sophicum Rhodostauroticum durch Theophilus Schweighart veröffentlicht. Im Mittelpunkt des Bildes steht ein sich auf Rädern bewegendes, festungsähnliches Gebäude. Man betrachtet das Bild aus dem ?OCCIDENS?, also vom Westen aus. Einen Hinweis darauf liefert uns die untere Bildbeschriftung (hier im Bild nur schlecht erkennbar). Der Eingang zu diesem Gebäude, der sich dem Betrachter direkt offenbart, ist durch einen Schriftzug gekennzeichnet. Über dem Torbogen liest man ?VENITE DIGNI?. Zur Rechten des Torbogens erkennt man ein Kreuz und zur Linken eine Rose. Direkt unter dem Eingang liest man die zwei Worte ?MOVE AMVR?. Über dem Torbogen befinden sich zwei Fenster, worüber sich der Schriftzug ?IESVS NOBIS OMNIA? entlang zieht. Es wird also deutlich, dass es sich neben all den vielen weiteren symbolischen Darstellungen um eine rosenkreuzerische Darstellung handeln könnte. Kreuz und Rose sind deutlich auszumachen, jedoch nicht, wie in heutiger Form, vereint dargestellt.
