Description | WE177 Project Tie. Detail from the official en:WE.177 project tie. The project code and a graphic image symbolising the project are depicted in the pattern. The WE.177 project was denied a project tie for many years because the project code was, unusually, itself classified. Eventually, someone devised a design symbolising both the code and the project without it being obvious unless one knew what the pattern represented. The en:atoms depicted are of en:hydrogen and (underneath) two atoms of en:nitrogen. en:Atomic numbers 1, 7 and 7 respectively. Photo by Author |
