English: Nicolaus Copernicus epitaph of 1735 in the Cathedral of Frombork (Frauenburg). To Nicholas Copernicus of Toruń, formerly a canon of this cathedral church of Varmia [Warmia or Ermeland], a most renowned astronomer, whose name and glory have filled both spheres [i.e. heaven and earth]. The prelates, the canons, and the entire chapter of Varmia have erected, in token of brotherly love and esteem, this monument. An earlier epitaph with different wording, erected in 1580 by Cromer, had been destroyed in wars of the 17th or early 18th century, see File:Nicolaus Copernicus epitaph Frauenburg.jpg.
