Français : Le 13 juillet 2010, le Congrès de la Nouvelle-Calédonie a émis le « vœu que soient arborés, ensemble, en Nouvelle-Calédonie, le drapeau dont la description est annexée et le drapeau national ». Ainsi aucune administration publique en Nouvelle-Calédonie ne se voit obligée d' arborer les deux drapeaux. Ces deux drapeaux sont hissés notamment sur le Haut-commissariat de la République, sur le siège de la Province Sud, sur celui du Sénat coutumier, et sur celui du Congrès.
