A blühender, B fruchtender Zweig; bei A ist der zu oberst, nach links, stehende Blütenstand ein weiblicher, die anderen sind männlich. 1 Teil eines männlichen Blütenstandes mit 2 Blüten; 2 männliche Blütenhülle; 3a und 3b Staubbeutel; 4 desgleichen der Quere nach durchschnitten; 5 weibliche Blüte; 6 Eichel; 7 dieselbe der Quere nach durchschnitten. 1 bis 5 vergrössert.

A — ветвь с цветками; B — ветвь с плодами; на рисунке A слева вверху — женское соцветие, остальные — мужские; 1 — часть мужского соцветия с 2 цветками; 2 — околоцветник мужского цветка; 3a и 3b — пыльник; 4 — пыльник в поперечном разрезе; 5 — женский цветок; 6 — плод (жёлудь); 7 — то же в поперечном разрезе.
