Summary

Kaart van Olympische boycot van 1976, 1980 en 1984. Landen die alle drie de wedstrijden aanwezig zijn gekleurd donker grijs. De bron van de informatie op de 1976 en 1984 boycotten landen was de Wikipedia-pagina's op de respectievelijke Olympische Spelen. De bron voor de 1980 info wasTime-magazine archieven online beschikbaar vanaf 1980 en de lijst op w: 1980 Olympische Zomerspelen te boycotten. Gegevens over landen die de 1980 wedstrijden boycotten zijn onvolledig: van de 64 of 65 landen die geboycot deze spellen, zijn er ongeveer 10 meer landen dan hier laten zien dat ze geboycot, bestaande uit van die geel gekleurd en grijs. Pyongyang niet te sturen een team, want de Zuid-Koreaanse Olympisch Comite weigerde op dit verzoek van de Noord-Koreaanse leider Kim Il-Sung om enkele evenementen te organiseren in zijn land.
