This is a scan of an image of a British Empire postage stamp issued in 1847, and therefore in the public domain worldwide. The scan was taken from the image in David Feldman SA, Maurtius Classic Postage Stamps and Postal History, Switzerland (1993)(auction catalog) p. 31; since the stamp is public domain, the two dimensional image of it also has no copyright claim and is public domain.
