Pakistan Supporters' Group - Thank you!

We are very grateful to everyone that has and continues to support us, here are some of the events that have taken place and the people and groups we would like to thank:

Chai aur Rishtay

A group of talented amateur actors with busy day jobs led by Suniya Qureshi gave up their spare time to create and produce hilarious comedy depicting the tribulations of finding Mr Right over a cup of chai in New Malden on 13th March 2010.  Following their tremendous success they repeated their performance at the Rudolph Steiner Theatre on the 12th June 2010

Eid Cruise

400 people attended a spectacular day out on the Thames to celebrate Eid.  There was fun for all the family on board the Dixie Queen on 27th September 2009, with activities for children including Pinkie the Pirate, cookie decorating and face painting.

Celebration

JP Morgan’s South Asian Society held an Eid and Diwali Dinner with fashion show featuring outfits by Falak Amaar at the Indali Lounge on Baker Street to raise funds and awareness of SOS in India and Pakistan on 23rd November 2009.

Mosaic of Cultures

A sumptuous dinner and dance organized by local mum, Onaiza, with a Moroccan theme was held 9th March 2007 at the VIP Lounge in Edgware to raise money for orphans from the Pakistan earthquake.

Our Manchester

Tehreem Ashraf of British Airways organized an evening of entertainment and inspiration with a charity auction on 10th November 2006 uniting businesses and the community in the North West.

An Evening of Geet and Ghazal

Simon Sylvester, winner of Sa Re Ga Ma in 2004, enthralled an audience at a magical evening at the Pakistani high Commission in Knightsbridge on Saturday 24th November 2007.

Golf Charity and Gala Day

Salim Laher of the Rotary Club of Twickenham organized a day of golf on 21st June 2007 at the Stockley Park Golf Club, to raise money to fund a computer lab for children in SOS Quetta, Pakistan

London Marathon

Naj Butt from Middlesex ran the marathon in April 2007.
